Invisible text in Mac OS Catalina/ OpenCPN 5.2

Hi, haven't used OpenCPN in a couple of years. Just downloaded 5.2 on my Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 mac. A number of screens appear to have white text on white backgrounds, so they are invisible. Any tips for how to fix this, or is it a bug? Same regardless of whether I start the app with Mac OS in Light or Dark mode.

Try setting both MacOS and OpenCPN to light mode.

Didn't know OpenCPN had a dark mode. Your suggestion prompted me to uncheck the "Use dark window decorations" checkbox. That worked! Thanks! For posterity, that box has to be unchecked AND MacOS has to be in light mode.
