Installing most updated 0-Chart Plugin

I'm installing Open CPN for the first time on a Mac Laptop. Ive successfully downloaded CPN, I've gone into the 0-Shop and purchased my chart area but have come to a halt trying to install the charts. In to installation section of the "how to" guide it says to insure I have the most up to date plugin. My problem is I don't have any o-chart plugin, let alone the most up to date one. WHERE will I find it? HELP!

The plug-in installs like all the other ones from Options|Plug-ins

Tools=>Options=>Plugins.
Click "Update catalog master" .... When OK:
Scroll down to find o-charts. Select it. Install. Click "OK" to exit Options.

Then...
Tools=>Options=>Charts=>o-charts.
Click "Refresh Chart List". Enter your credentials to o-charts. Give the PC a name when requested. and so on..

I have exactly this: opened plugins and updated plugin Catalog: master, clicked OK. Then went Tools=>Options=>Charts but there is nothing to see on the charts page. No o-Charts, NOTHING.

Did you als 'enable' the plugin??

At Options|Plug-ins after refreshing the catalog, scroll down, find the o-charts plug-in "parcel" and select it, then "install".
Once installed and enabled, the o-charts tab at Options|Charts will show up.

I have the same issue on
surface / ubuntu / opencpn 5.6.2 with compatibility ubuntu-x86_64.23.04 and no plugin ochart avail
