Installation on Arch Linux

Hi,


I am trying to install OpenCPN (using yay) on Endeavour OS, Archbang etc, all Arch linux based


I am getting the following errors:

-> wxgtk3 not satisfied, flushing install queue

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:833 (message):   Cannot run wxWidgets version test (!)

There is sone discussion on the AUR page, but I cant understand it
AUR (en) - opencpn 1


I am also asking on the EOS forum, but thought that perhaps someone here has already done this?

Is this a well known problem?


Hopefully, although I realise that Arch Linux users are a minority, perhaps some far more Arch Linux savvy people are around here?



Can anyone help / lead me in the right direction, please?

I found a workaround
I realised that I had OpenCPN installed on Manjaro so I installed Pamac on Endeavour OS and installed using that with no problems
I will now uninstall Pamac and on the next update see if yay does it - if not I'll just temporarily install Pamac
