Can anyone tell me where and how to get Indian Ocean and S/E Asia charts for openCPN?

Your only option for up to date proper charts are the official, and fairly expensive, S63 Encrypted ENC charts.

In case you go for S-63 charts:
- Take the shortest licensing period. Usually 3 months. Brings cost down by aprox. 40%. Charts will stay afterwards, just updates cease.



- Don't expect all remote sites covered with large scales. To get an idea:
