I'm not familiar with this compressed XML format, but I believe it has many embedded links requiring an online internet connection to open.
What we need is a help file that will load with the internet unplugged or switched off.
Ideas?

I have been able to save the help file in HML or MHTML (Microsoft HTL) formats.
I just unpluged my internet connection and loaded both files. They loaded ok. None of the links worked because of the disconnect from the internet. The help file does not pull anything from places on the internet. All of the text and graphics are contained in the file. The links are just for the user to go to other places on the internet.
I can removed the links. Really don't think that's a good idea in case users are hooked to the internet and want to use the links. I can add a note that the external links won't work unless connected to the internet.
I just sent one file to begin with to see if the file got to you. I was hoping it would do what you wanted. To speed things up, I can send you the HML file with the links removed. I can also send two MHTML files. One with the links and another without the links.
