Halo20 - No Radar

Hi,
First post and new to radar.

I've installed a new Halo20 radar as per the B and G manual with the positive and yellow control cable wired together after my panel fuse. I have good voltage at the panel.

I have a Rpi4 running OCPN 5.6.2. The radar plugin is 5.3.4
I have the firewall disabled on the Pi.
I have the OpenGL selected.
I have True heading and GPS data in OCPN.

When launching the radar I get the radar screen and a pop up showing
Navico Halo A (serial # (number)
Scanning interface 192.168.54.143

The radar screen shows my heading, but shows only an initiating message.
On the Netgear switch I see no activity what so ever at the RJ45 plug. One solid green light on the right.

I've pinged the ip address above and get a positive send and return.

Have I missed something?
Navico support don't want to know, because I'm using OCPN.

I plan on going back up the mast to double check the connection but is there something else I should be looking for.

Thanks

In the case your text "number" above is actually instead of a received serial number you have contact. (Right click the OCPN screen and select Show radar/Halo...-control.

If not. What's the IP address of you PC. Is it on the same segment as the radar scanner? 192.168.54.xx

Thanks for that.
Its starting to make sense. I took my windows laptop to the boat, same OCPN and Plug-in versions. Worked straight away. I'll try the same with the RPi tomorrow.

BTW: Did you read this about handling the software?

Re: Halo20 - No Radar

All working on the Pi. Moral of this story is to read all the manual. Not just the bits you think you need. The window I needed to see was closed. Only by following the last chapter did it become apparent I had to right click the screen. Thanks for the help.
