GPS intensity Icone has disappeared

I upgraded from OpenCPN 5.01 to 5.2 and since then the icone showing the GPS intensity on top right of the screen disappeared. Someone could help me ? I join 2 screenshots, before and after the upgrade.

None of your screenshots shows a working GPS.

That's correct, but still the indicator doesn't appear anymore at the top right. Before even if I had no GOPS connected this indicator was there to show the status.

Is the setting "Options->User Interface->Show Compass/GPS Status Window" activated?

As always ... please read the friendly manual.

I went on internet to find the user manual and simply by pressing Ctrl I it appears or disappears.
Thank you very much for this I will go deeper in the manual reading.

Why you go to the Internet when you see "5: Aide" (translated in english: Help) as shown in your screenshot?

Oups ... I didn't know that the help was so accurate and detailed ... I never went in it.

They are two different versions of the manual. The one downloaded with the program is smaller and less complete.

Hello I have been able to get the manual that seems pretty big. I have already started to read it since yesterday. I love OpenCpn App, it is really nice.

I made the smaller version in epub for distribution, but it is dated.
We need to break the manual into 2-3 pieces and redo it with new screenshots, in a more organized manner, and I will need lots of help again.
But the first thing to do is get all the plugins working properly.
