Google Earth plugin for Linux

Hi
I saw new feature added in OpenCPN that is Google earth plugin .I already build openCPN in Linux and i like to use google earth service. Can anyone help me to use Google earth plugin on Linux. For my application i want to track in land as well as in marine.So please suggest me a way to use Google earth in Linux or a way to track in Land.

You can try to use charts from SAS-Planet, see example.

Thanks carcode. Is anyone knows Linux supported Google Map plugin .I wish OpenCPN will provide Linux compatible Google Map plugin.So i can track lands too

With SAS planet you can create raster maps for land regions, not just for coasts.
Producing the raster .kap files.

The Google PI for other systems than Windows (macOS, Linux Intel, Linux ARM, Android..) does depend from the (non-)existence of libraries from Google to be able to write the corresponding plug-ins.
Even for Windows Google surprises quite often with changes of the interface, so that the PI has to find workarounds. Google is not very helpful in this context, to put it in neutral words.

As said: OSM and SAS planet are sources you can use to get your maps for land excursions from.

thanks for you replay.Actually i am a beginner can you please share where i can find OSM and SAS planet map conversion.I would like to add land maps too.
