Hi there....

Anyone know who actually owns the OpenCPN repo at github.com?

I am (still) a git noob, but coming up to speed slowly.....

I think this repo is set up to automatically mirror the sourceforge git repo. How does it do that?

Is anyone monitoring the pull requests for this repo? There is one open request now, concerning a GPSD issue I've never heard about.....It is lying fallow.

I guess I should own the creds for this repo at github, but have no idea how to make that happen. At least that way it could get some attention.

the OpenCPN repository on github was created by Jason Allum, but actually never actively used. I've tried to contact him but never got any response. Obviously someone (SethDart or balp?) was more successful as I received commit access to that repo some months later in April this year.
Unfortunately I don't have admin rights there, so can't do much to get you to rule it
As with the updates, I may be mistaken, but I think that balp runs a cron job on his machine to do the fetch/push.

Pavel is right, I contacted Jason a few months ago to ask if I could get access to that repo and he granted it to most of us. I'm sure you can ask him. I contacted him via github contact form.
To my knowledge, there's no autoupdate someone must be doing it regularly.
