Garmin GMR 18 OpenCPN compatability

Hi sailors.

I have found a used Garmin GMR 18 radar (NOT HD or xHD) that I would like to buy...
It has a ethernet cable connection, but I am unsure if it is OpenCPN compatible.
The manual says compatible with modern Garmin (Ethernet capable) radar scanners only.
Does someone know if it works with OpenCPN?

Please look at the documentation for the current Radar_pi which should list support.

I do not see the Garmin 18 Radar listed anywhere, but try doing a search on that in the forum and in the OpenCPN manual.
