Freezing and other issues - OpenCPN on Android

Hi,
I run paid OpenCPN for Android Version 5.6.2 [99] on Samsung Tab Active Android 11.

1. The main problem is that application freezing/stop working. It seems to be connected to when the system is going into sleep mode/screen shut down to save battery. It also seem to be connected to issue 2 (see below) when the screen size is changing.

I've turned off as many plugins as I could, going back to original template etc. Doesn't help.

2. The second issue is that the screen setting is changing, which makes menues bottom buttons move outside the screen. (See enclosed pictures marked "2") I can turn the screen to portrait and get them visible. But sometimes the whole application freezes, I believe it could be related to 1?

3. The text (like island names) on my vector charts are sometimes duplicated or even triplicated (see picture marked "3") The charts are purchased from O-charts.org The area is Stockholm Archipelago and there are severla layers of charts in different level of detail.

Appreciate help on the three issues one by one or if you seet that they are related somehow.

I realize that I also have, in addition to above issues, the mysterious Unnamed Route.

I did the suggested measures:
1. Take a copy of opencpn.conf file. Save it somewhere safe.

2. Delete opencpn.conf on the device.
3. Delete all novaobj.xml files.
4. Restart OpenCPN.

I also had to re-install the charts.

It know works in a more stable way. But the Unknown Route is still there, I don't touch it.

Question: Is there a correction or workaround to get rid of the unknown route?

I hope you did a chart full database update to renew the senc files first before going to all that trouble.

Also, deleting your navobj.xml files deletes all your waypoints and routes and each numbered backup and tracks, which is ok if you don't need those.

Could the unnamed route be due to something stored on a layer? Have you looked under routes for it?

By the way android support has its own forum, you will get better help there.

The "unknown route" is a known bug in current Android release. Pending next release.
As you have found, it is annoying, but harmless.
