Updated: 115 Free OpenCPN Icons
Here are 115 updated and free user icons in the latest .png format.
These icons are an improvement compared to my previous icons posted under my previous forum name of MooseMoney. These icons are freeware and you may use and modify them as you wish.
Download them from: REVELATIONS Wiets & Sue cruising the world
To use them in OpenCPN;
- Create a directory called "UserIcons" in the same place that holds your opencpn.ini (config) file. In Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\opencpn
- Download the UserIcons and unzip/unrar in your new "UserIcons" folder.
- Start OpenCPN and use!

Re: Free OpenCPN Icons
Hello MouseMoney ...
Merci. Ces icônes sont une vraie Révélation !
So it is necessary that you ask Thomas to change the old by the new icons in opencpn.org page.
Best regards. Gilletarom.

I noticed that on OSX when these are installed I get a lot of lines like this:
CEST: Warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile in opencpn.log
I fixed this in OSX through running ImageMagick's convert in the UserIcons directory.
In shell execute:
find . -type f -name "*.png" -exec convert {} -strip {} \;
Regards,
Peter

It's not caused by OS X but by the wxWidgets version 3.0 which uses a newer png lib than 2.8.
