Failing to Import CM93 Charts

I'm having problems loading CM93 charts into OpenCPN. I'm running v4.0.0 on Windows 7. I can point OpenCPN at directories containing BSB and NOAA vector charts and all works as expected, but when I point it at directories containing CM93 bundles I get nothing. Specifically when scanning for new charts, or forcing a full database rebuild, the pop-up zooms through the CM93 directory and the charts are not available or shown in outline by OpenCPN.

I have tried giving the directory a number of different names, including C:\CM93. I've checked that the directory contents are as described in other posts. I've even tried some CM93 bundles of various vintages (2002 - 2011) "borrowed" from friends. Nothing.

The log file seems to suggest that some scanning is going on, but I'm not seeing any error messages:

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but I'm too frustrated to see it. Any thoughts?

Try to place the chart folder in your documents home folder. It mght be that due to user rights opencpn can't access foldrs outside your user folder ??

Aaarrgghh. Thanks for the thoughts, but I just stumbled upon my error. With chart quilting enabled the chart outlines are not displayed, so I was assuming the charts were not loaded. It does mention this in the manual; my bad.
