Extra Object Info text dark on dark unreadable

When I do an object query on the chart and then go to the links to the text items at the bottom, that section is dark text on dark background to the point of being functionally unreadable. When I click on the links the "Extra Object Info" popups have the same problem--very dark text on dark background. I have messed around with the font options in the user interface options to try to address this but haven't been able to find a solution. The problem persists in all color schemes. I'm on an M2 Mac laptop. This was happening with 4.8.4 and now with 4.10.0. Suggestions?
