Exploring OpenCPN PowerPoint Presentation

A bit over a year ago I gave a series of talks on Marine Computer Navigation. Since that time there have been many changes to OpenCPN. I have now revised my 'talk' (in PowerPoint) with annotations that might make it a 'stand-alone' presentation.

The revision is available for download at this link Click on it for direct download, a bit over 42MB.

Nice...

Comments/ideas:
At the AIS part:
in your case the yellow targets were moored and the green is moving, but yellow just says "no static data received". The black ball indicates "moored".

You might point to the chapter in the help file where all the different targets (shapes, colors, marks) are getting explained.

And if you wish to share the presentation so that others can work on it then you should perhaps publish the pps and not the ppsx version.
Or an Open/LibreOffice formatted file.

Thanks for the suggestion

But not sure if the pps version (pre-2007) would help. But if I publish the ppt version then it can be modified. Only problem I see is that a large number of versions could emerge (hey! I finally found a use for this emoticon)

So I will work on publishing the ppt version and post here when done.

Terry....
Nice of you to chair your excellent work. I can see a use of it if you don't mind. But with all respect an editable version is the foundation for the open source thinking? Like OCPN where I can change or add small details to suit my maybe odd requirements but gratefully take advantage of the highly advanced code. And also chair my changes to whom it may interest.
Thanks Håkan
