Display Freeze in Version 5

I've been experiencing a particularly frustrating experience. I have a mini PC in which I'm running the latest version of OpenCpn, 5.24. My problem is that it constantly will freeze the display. The program is still operating as it should. I can tell because my routing information is still being transmitted to my Autopilot. In looking at the Log file it seems to be this error " 12:05:54.835 MESSAGE s52plib.cpp:2825 RenderHPGL: width 424 height 521
12:05:56.808 MESSAGE s52plib.cpp:2825 RenderHPGL: width 424 height 521.
I'm not sure what to do to correct this.
The prior version of OpenCpn 4.88 worked absolutely fine. I'm using the simplest of display settings.
I'm currently transiting the AIWW and this problem has gotten progressively worse.
I will attach my most recent log file if that will help.

Dave, attached are screen shots. The display crashed after about 1 hr. There are two shots as it changed during the course of the day. Not sure if it helps. Let me know if you need further info.
