I´ve done a lot of research to find the best and most reliable app to communicate between your smartphone and laptop/PC and in my opinion PocketCloud Remote Desktop and Pocketcloud Explorer comes out well on top. Wyse, already a respected and inovating company since the 80´s,have only recently been taken over by Dell Computers, which says it all.

PocketCloud Explore
PocketCloud Explore brings an intuitive view of your Windows/Mac file system to Android smartphones and tablets, and lets you search, view, organize, and share files across all of your

The communication takes place over WLAN and you can
purchase an in-expensive USB router for the purpose if you don´t already have one installed.
