Definitions of Vector chart letters

Does anyone know of a list that defines the Vector chart descriptions?

Example; BOYLAT is a Lateral Buoy.

I need a list of all the abbreviations and there meaning.

Look in Opencpn's Help. under Vector charts.

There is no specific "help" tab on OpenCpn's page.

...provides nothing in finding a list of definitions of the Categories I'm looking for. The link above is also local on my machine with the same text.

You can look them up (painfully) here:

IHO S-57 / ENC - Object and Attribute Catalogue

The list (also painful) is here:

Seems like the S-57 standards group keeps that pretty hidden unless you want to pay.
