Dashboard GPS co-ordinates

GPS coordinates in OpenCPN are set to decimals. Dashboard shows them as degrees. What gives?

Dashboard Preferences > Appearances does not have this setting or choice.

No. Expected behaviour in my mind is for it to take the settings from the main OpenCPN settings for something as important as location. Small thing, but something that came to light when I needed to input decimal coordinates into another app.

It's not worth a feature request.

Yes, I agree, but that is not the way it works with plugins. Mike, I believe that there are some PR's merged to OpenCPN, that help with allowing copying and pasting such that the particular format does not impeade or change the lat/long. I believe this also got added to the Plugin API, but now Plugins need to take advantage of it. However I do not recall if the API also has a field for setting the lat/long format in plugins. Maybe someone can answer.
