Copy and Paste of Route Attributes

Hi,
I would like to import the route waypoints into MS Excel. This is possible over GPX-Import, but without the distances and bearings to/from the next/prior waypoint. If I could copy this infos from the route attribute window (mark and ctrl-c), it would be easy to get them into excel. Or does anyone have another idea?
Thanks
Joe

Why not do the actual distances and bearings calculations in excel, once the lat&long of the wpts are imported ?

It would be very good to do the calculations in Excel, starting just from basic geographic data about waypoints - it is easier then to modify the route later on.

Until some passage planning tool is built into OCPN, one might use e.g. Raytech 6.0 (free demo - full function but without instruments). Clumsy as it is, it does import/export routes in Excel and flat text format.

At this point, I am wondering, what is needed to turn Route Properties into Passage Plan. I think it would be for each routepoint:

- arrival time, rest time, departure time (possibly rest time = 0, so arrival=departure)
- tides state for arrival/departure time (e.g. HW slack)
- fuel and water tanks fill state (assumed consumption /h motoring /day)

- assumed speed for each leg

- save/printout capability

The values (e.g. times/dates) would be calculated from assumed defaults or set explicitly at chosen locations.

would be nice...
