Connect USB GPS with Ubuntu for OpenCPN

Hello,
This is just my first post, I´m from Spain and looking for using this great OpenCPN program with my new Linux system. I started my tests with Windows and my USB GPS (Hollux) works well, now I want to use another laptop with Linux (Ubintu) and I´m totally lost how to activate the USB prt for my GPS. Some advices about this topic?

Got to toolbox --> gps tab --> choose /dev/ttyUSB0 , and change it yourself into /dev/ttyACM0 in case it it not listed in the pulldown menu.
In case you have more usb devices you might try to change the last zero into 1 or 2.
