LennartG
If you want a more acceptable color for DEPCN change it to:-
<color name="DEPCN" r="91" g="196" b="221"/>
Then you have a light blue color for the bathymetric line, which is more like the Canadian raster charts color.

Re: Colors and symbols for vector charts

P_Dub,
there are really two topics in this:
a) The color names DEPCN and DEPSC need be displayed as stated in the IHO s52 specification. Once that is ok then comes
b) The chart outlook here is referencing 'Swedish Classic' meaning this should follow that outlook as closely as practically possible, even if a third depth color has been added.
If you like you are of course free to modify according to your liking but I will try to stick to the original topic here.

Re: Colors and symbols for vector charts

Here is what it looks like. I don't have any Swedish charts other than the CM93 ed.2 for the area. I was in Sunsvall a long time ago and all we had were the British charts black and white.

Re: Colors and symbols for vector charts

P-Dub,
interesting but definitely not 'Swedish Classic'.
Use that setup (png and xml) and package it under another name, e.g. Canadian Standard'. Then put it in GitHub for everyone to use.

Question: Those depth contours, what color name are they?

Re: Colors and symbols for vector charts

P_Dub,
you sure did but DEPCN, at least in my oeSENC version, does not draw any contour. Your chart has multiple contours, hence the question. See my post #27
Can not make that happen here so something differs. What is your oeSENC version?

Can you be more explicit, I don't find that?
I have no chart from OpenCPN. I have CHS and US S57; and also raster charts.

Re: Colors and symbols for vector charts

P-Dub,
- Select the Gearwheel (just below the hamburger) in the left side vertical menu.
- In the displayed dialog, select the Plugins puzzle icon (rightmost)
- Scroll down until you find oeSENC (another puzzle icon) plus a version number. That is the number I want.

Is it correct that you are using a Windows machine? Assuming Win 10 then.
