hi,

I have the same tablet and while it runs openCPN ok it will not now run navionics, which is generally superior as a chartplotter on the cockpit.
I run Open plotter on a Raspberry Pi linked to all the nmea and seatalk data. This can be viewed wirelessly by the Samsung on the cockpit, but to be honest, Na ionics running on an Okitel ruggedised tablet is way better for real world usage in the cockpit, mounted on the binnacle.
