Charts with Opencpn Android

Hello,
I use Opencpn Android 5.10.2 on Danew 111.
I migrated charts from a PC via USB cable.
I can see the frame of the chartsbut not what they contain.
When I link my directory with the charts directly, I obtain the same result.
Can you tell me what to do to solve this problem.

Try zooming in much much further.

MBtile show only in the Zoom levels they have been created for. Usually 14-18 if made in SASplanet.

Then click on the chart selector boxes at the bottom.

I have CM93 and lots of MBTiles working under Android.

I have already used the zoom via the mouse or via the chart selector and the result stay bad.
The most strange is that the same charts are running with the V4.1 of opencpn.

Hmm. Interesting.

Is that screenshot from your PC?



Did you use the chart migration on your Android device?
It's a necessary step to allow OpenCPN Android to use the charts.

The migrated folder can be on a memory card.



If you have not used that feature, be aware it will take a lot of hours to go through the process automatically when started if you have a lot of charts.

The app screen will go black in between and you may get the impression that the process failed or stalled. Wait it out, eventually it will complete and your charts are avaliable.

Yes, it is the screen of my android (Danew111)
I tryed the 2 ways: Migration and direct installation with the same result.
I also try to unsinstall the application and to install it again.
I also try to rebuild the data base and still without result.
I will try again and wait a few hours, as you recommand

For many charts you need to be really patient and keep your device plugged in.
It took me about 24hours to load all of them.

I posted my question on bigdumboat but I have no answer.
I let my android working the all night without result.
Each time I migrated my charts, I received a good message (see image)
Very strange.
Perhaps is my android not powerfull enough?RAM 2Go;Memory 32 Go
