chart groups

HI,
I am planning a trip via the GICW from New Orleans to Corpus Christi, TX.

Is there an easy/shortcut way to create a chart group (actually 2, one raster and one vector) of the relevant charts?

There doesn't seem to a way to do it via the context menu. I hope there is a way is easier than getting the chart number from the status bar, manually searching for the chart number in the chart group tab and then adding it to the chart group.

Chart groups points to chart directories rather than individual files. See more here in the manual
