Cannot import GPX

I have an issue importing external GPX files into OpenCPN. The files come from my chartplotter (they are tracks). It used to work and the ones I used to import are showing fine, but it stopped working I think in version 5.6.2.
I believe this is similar to what's reported here: https://opencpn.org/flyspray/index.p...rom=&closedto=

Is this being fixed in the upcoming version?

Re: Cannot import GPX

There is one problem with track import fixed. If it is also going to fix your problem we can't tell without seeing your GPX file.
Or you can of course install the latest version from https://cloudsmith.io/~david-registe...able/packages/ and see for yourself...

Re: Cannot import GPX

We are underway for the next several days, so I do not want to mess with the setup right now. I can share the GPX if anyone can give it a try.

Re: Cannot import GPX

Well, I tried, but the file is bigger than the 400k limit on this forum. I tried to attach a ZIP file but it is not allowed. Any suggestions on how to get it to you?

And if it is even bigger, put in on Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or simply anywhere and just post a link.

Your last version 5.7.1+340.ab07f5a does not want to open in windows 10 and crash immediately. The version 5.7.1+336.7ff014e works OK Why?

Works just fine on my Windows 10 system, I do not know why you have problems with pretty much every build on yours (But given I know what the changes between the builds are, it makes no sense and I would suspect a problem on your system and not in OpenCPN). Let aside that this is completely off-topic here.

Re: Cannot import GPX

OK, great. I have renamed the ZIP file to PDF. So after downloading, remove the PDF extension, then unzip it to get the GPX file. It's about 700k unzipped.

Thank you for the help!

[QUOTE=nohal;3758985]Works just fine on my Windows 10 system

By doing a Parallel installation it works OK and why not when for updating the previous version?

Re: Cannot import GPX

On win10 updated to present master the track import also worked very fine. Open Route & mark manager -> Import GPX. In Tracks tab after a second.
