Cannot connect kaps on Galaxy

Hi all. Sounds like I'm working on the cosmos. I have all my kap charts on a sd card on my Galaxay Samsung tab A. I was able to connect them, but I'm moving areas so I removed the Fiji maps to add the Vanuatu maps and cannot figure out the magic formula for the connection. The CM93 charts are on the sd card and they are fine (relatively speaking), but I cannot figure out the file structure to reconnect new maps. Anyone have any experience with this device?

2nd. Problem; on both the Android and the windows 10 tablet, the blue bars that denote kaps turn black and I get nothing. The only way to fix it is to quit opencpn and restart. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm drowning. About to pitch it for Isailor and Offline maps, but I have all of Vanuatu, Solomons, PNG and W Papua, Borneo AND all of Indonesia on kaps. I cannot tell you how much work that was.

For your Win 10 problems please show us some screenshots and the opencpn.log file as well as the opencpn.ini file.

Thank you for your help. The dedicated forum does not appear to be so dedicated. Apparently bigdumbboat isn't monitored and doesn't use automated email registration. The first time I registered was about 6 months ago and I never received a confirmation email. I thought perhaps it was my fault, so I registered again on Jul 2 per your email. Still, no email yet and I have been religious about checking spam. I've registered again tonight, on the off chance that I mis spelled my 20 year old email address using our boat email address. The forum won't even let me browse the posts for similar issue without email confirm.

My win10 tablet transformer died so I'm waiting for a shipment from the state's for replacements. Will comply with your request if possible. We are scheduled to leave port on the 12th. Perhaps without opencpn kaps. Life is unfair.

Regarding your blue bars turning black....Could be a graphic card problem.
