Can OpenCPN load data from radar and do collision alerting (no AIS)

Can OpenCPN load data from radar and do collision alerting (no AIS alerts). Just can OpenCPN load data from radar and if any object is inside some X distance from boat start alarm?

Yes it can.

Garmin HD, Garmin XHD, Navico Br24, Navico 3G, Navico 4G RADARS are supported.

Called a guard Zone. As Above, yes. I use it all the time when single-handing....
You can download any sound you like for the alarm. I have the dive alert from a 688 Attack Sub for the radar alarm. Works great, it'd wake the dead!
