Can Dashboard Show Magnetic Compass ?

I have just started experimenting with OpenCPN. What a fantanstic app - and built by users!!

My question relates to the Dashboard Plug-In. It seems it always reads True Compass - can it be set for Magnetic display?

I have my current on-boad system (Raymarine/C-Map) set to show Magnetic because it then matches (more/less) the ship's compass at the binnacle.

During my experimenting I have used 2 GPS units. 1) An old eTrex original - yellow - connected by serial cable through a USB-serial adaptor. I can see the eTrex NMEA RMC sentences send TRUE even though the eTrex local display can be set for TRUE or MAG. Whatever the setting of the local display RMC always sends TRUE. 2) A new Globalsat BU-353 USB connected "puck". It sends RMC too and I assume it is TRUE.

Any experienced users have an answer for this?
