camera on raspberry pi

Has anyone found a near realtime camera solution with raspi? Thanks.

MotionEye and some camera like this one.

It sucks. Over network I have almost 5 seconds delay

I could live with that for a rear-view image, but not for engine monitoring or docking. I read recently that this streamer had low-latency, just don't know how low and I have no camera at home to try.
