Building DEB packages for a plugin

I have created a new plugin in the ΟpenCPN code tree under plugins folder.

I would like to know how can i create a Linux DEB package just for the plugin and not for the εντιρε OpenCPN project.

Take a look at one of my plugins for a suitable stand-alone build pattern.

This one is complicated by helper binary and various data files, but you should get the idea.

What does your Plugin do?

It's a bit application specific, i use it for plotting targets from Trackpoint II plus echo sounder.

TP locates underwater targets using transponders.

By attaching a transponder to a diver, ROV or even fish you can track it from the surface with descent accuracy (a few meters)
