BSB4 charts not being recognised

I am new here, having been told by friends for over a year about how wonderful OpenCPN is but failed to get it working.

I have BSB4 charts which I purchased and used with Maptech Chart Navigator Pro - ie they worked. I am on Windows7.

I have OpenCPN 3.0.2 and downloaded the BSB Plug in v1.2 which I can see in the PlugIns menu and enabled it.

I just keep seeing the blue outline on black background, no charts at all.

Sounds like you forgot an important step:actually installing the charts in OpenCPN.

See Getting Started > Installing Charts in the user manual, which is available by clicking "?" in the toolbar and selecting the "Help" tab.

Did you do the "Force Full database Rebuild"?

SUCCESS !!! I had previously hit the Force Full Database Rebuild but that was before I updated the BSB Plug in. Just done it again and can see my charts now.
