Bit of a problem
Just posting so that it may help someone, running a new windows Lenovo Ideapad A300 and could not not get the Globalstar BT821C to connect, it would pair OK and checked and rechecked settings but even when I ran the GPS info screen I kept getting Commport error, everything worked on Asus Tablet but not on Laptop, finally went into device manager and disabled comm port (Comm Port 4) and re-enabled it and and all started working
