Basic user would like charts for SoC, Mexico Pacific Coast

Hi,
I did a DIY install of OpenCPN on an rPi last year on my boat with AIS receiver. I love it. And I'm hoping to rid myself of Navionics eventually and just use OpenCPN. I currently will run both sometimes, especially at night, Navionics on my phone and OpenCPN on a screen in the cabin where I can see it from the tiller. I sail in the SoCal area.

In another year or two I'd like to get down to the SoC, maybe during next years Baja Haha. That said I have been following along on the OpenCPN forums and it seems like it's hard to get decent charts for Mexico. What are my options for getting the best charts? Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Check at o-charts.org for the Mexican ENCs (from the Mexican Navy, content identical with the official charts) and Blue Latitude RNCs for the Mx Pacific and Mx Sea of Cortez. The latter two are complementing the first ones for places where the official charts do not cover places preferred by leisure sailors.
Both types are licensed charts.
o-charts is the chart outlet of OpenCPN for OpenCPN.

Agree with BCN!

More info here, including a couple missing areas:

Don't bother with the HaHa. Do it independently either before or after HaHa (other boats will do this too).
