We are getting ready to move forward with a new Beta series.
I have just completed a marathon merge session of the many github Pull Requests, long overdue. As expected with the time lag and multiple contributors, there were some merge conflicts. I resolved them in the simplest way I could see, without altering the intent of the contributor. I hope.
I have merged all the PRs that seem appropriate for the upcoming Beta 4.5 series. Those that were not merged were either
a) Not understood by me,
b) Seemed a bit risky for the general case,
c) Obviated by other, more recent changes.
d) Need rebasing
So, please take a look at the
current <HEAD>, and verify that your Pull Requests got merged correctly. If one or more of your requests was not merged, now would be a good time to make your case again.
