Announcement: Plugin download (for Windows only)

Hi beta testers!

As there is no real "Plugin Management" yet, I re-compiled all available plugins for being compatible with the latest beta version 2.4.523 of OpenCPN.
That means all plugins require API version 1.5 and are compatible with it.

You can download each of the plugins DLL file directly to your OpenCPN installation subfolder 'plugins'.

No need for any kind of further editing!

After downloading the file(s) start, or restart OpenCPN and go to the 'PlugIns' tab in the ToolBox and enable the desired plugins.

Please report any problems you may discover - thanks!

Also note that all this is of "temporary" nature and may change at any time.

I also like to point out that there is a separate project for each plugin on the tracker - see: OpenCPN::Tracker All Projects: Tasklist
and switch to the respective project.

Not sure if this is relevant, but in the tools/plugin menu the VDR preferences button is grayed out even when the plugin is enabled.

I have not tried it before so don't know whether there is nothing to set or change...

Also: Does anyone have a recorded VDR file to post that I can play with?
