Re: Android OpenCPN (Paid)

I didn't package the translations. I will try in the next attempt but I can't say when that will be.

I click the button, and the screen changes to "See Play store for more plugins" and OpenCPN (paid version) opens. But it looks the same as it ever did.

What am I missing?

Capt Tom...

"...and OpenCPN (paid version) opens".

This is normal.

The plugins must be individually enabled, as usual, using the traditional OpenCPN toolbar settings icon (wrench symbol tab).

Thanks
Dave

Thank you, but I don't see any reference to plugins either on the "OpenCPN Settings" menu options, or from the "wrench" icon.

Likewise, I don't see anything about the Android app there.

I admit to being totally clueless here. I can't find anything in app's description in the Play store about what to do with it. The links above all seem to talk about the desktop (Windows or Linux) versions.

I'm probably missing something very obvious. I'm sure it all makes sense to the folks already working with and developing this.

Re: Android OpenCPN (Paid)

CaptTom...

Regarding options and settings, the user interface for OpenCPN for Android is largely compatible with OpenCPN Desktop.

Perhaps you may like to take a look at the standard OpenCPN User Manual, starting here:

https://opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwiki/do...etting_started

The optional plugins which you have installed are not necessary for normal operation, so I would suggest getting familiar with the basic functions of OpenCPN first. There are some informative youtube videos available, as well.

Thanks
Dave

Re: Font colors can't be changed

Choosing a font color under User Interface dos not work.

The screen for selecting the color remains with the chosen color but does not show on the main screen.
