Having had my password reset for the Android forum I'm now told that I have used too many login attempts and am locked out for c. 30 days. Anyone any ideas?

How do you acess the android forum? I purchased an android version of open CPN but I can't get charts to lead and I don't know where to turn to for help.

Hi Dave,

I'm using OpenCPN and the Android version (the real Android version) for many years.
I have had access to the OA Forum in the past and I must be somewhere in the system as "Seanymph" or as "Seanymph-RS" (and probably as both) .

But.... sadly I cannot access the forum anymore. No matter how hard or what I try...

I get the message:
"You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:
Your registered account is awaiting activation. Check your email.
You registered with an invalid email address. Activation could not be sent.
Your account may have been suspended or banned. (Resend Activation Code)
You have accessed this page directly rather than using appropriate forms or link.
You are currently logged in with the username: 'Seanymph-RS"

I have tried everything I could think of, but "Resend Activation Code" did not result in receiving an email. Trying to register anew did not work either because "Computer says NO, my email-adress is already in use by another user" (well, that's probably me).

After numerous attempts and lots of coffee I have surrendered now and that's the reason for this post. I hope you can help me out.

(Pessimist, hope you can forgive me for using your thread for this personal SOS).

We see both accounts, and the last activity was today for Seanymph-RS.
Please try to login as "Seanymph" (email s...o@g...l.com) now, and we will watch for your activity.
If "Seanmnph" works, we can delete the other account to avoid confusion.

Hi Dave,

Thank you for this very quick reply. Just now I have tried several times to log in using Seanymph as username and s.........a as pw. But everytime I get the message that I am logged in with the username Seanymph-RS and that I don't have permission.

I clicked the "forgot my password"-button and received the message that an email was send to the emailadres(ses) linked to my account. But I did not receive any email (also looked in spam, alias etc.).

We have deleted "Seanymph-RS". Should work now for "Seanymph"
