It seems that moving columns does work in Windows but not in Linux. But even when I moved columns in Windows, they come back in the same default sequence when I restart OCPN.

Hi Aart,

the difference between Windows and Linux is, that files have rights. If a file is "read only", the user cannot change the contents of this file.

Look first by "eigenschap" what the status of the rights of the file are.
