AIS not showing vessel names.

Ais targets are shown but not the names of some seem to be the ONWA Ais transceivers that don't show names in Open Cpn although on my primary Ais the names does show. I tried O 4.5 and doesn't show either.

Re: AIS not showing vessel names.

There is a setting that shows. Settings (the spanner), Ships, AIS Targets, Show names with AIS targets at scale greater than 1:. Tick box and put in a figure.

Re: AIS not showing vessel names.

AIS shows what's entered into it, if the name is absent it may not be entered or in some cases there is only a call sign.

Re: AIS not showing vessel names.

Some of the newest AIS transponder are indeed not shown. This has been updated in the current code. Please try the last beta, that should do the trick.

Re: AIS not showing vessel names.

Just rename it to yourFileName.doc and then upload should be no problem.
