AIS Dispatcher on Raspberry Pi (Troubleshooting)

Is anyone using this to stream AIS data to various providers?

I installed in on my RPi 3B+ and this tiny piece of software is using 100% of my CPU resources and the thing is running hot.

The data is ending up where it needs to go, but why it shouldn't be using so much processing power. Something is wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Oculodoc...
Not much of info from you about the setup.
But since you're "here" let's assume you used one OCPN Connection to receive from a AIS (serial/USB) device.
In another Connection you output all to a network UTC. In this output connection you may have forgot to uncheck "[] Receive input on this port" and consequently created a loop. That's: All what's sent out is also received again, and sent out again......

Re: AIS Dispatcher on Raspberry Pi (Troubleshooting)

I'm using rPiAIS – AIS Dispatcher for Raspberry Pi | AISHub The download is version 1.1, but it will automatically update to version 1.3 than installed/ running. Works perfect, no problems with heat running on a RPI 2+ , no micro SD card, using a cheap USB thumb drive as hard drive.
