AIS button + red triangle?

I have a red warning triangle on my AIS button. I can't see any mention of it in the manual. AIS seems to be working as far as I can tell. Does anybody know what the red warning triangle is trying to tell me?

The red triangle appears in the manual on the "Journeyman Flat" toolbar option. I suspect it's just another version of the red "!"
