Actisense W2K-1 and Linux

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, using the W2K-1 to connect their linux laptop and OpenCPN to their NEMA 2000 network. My laptop is running OpenSuse Tumbleweed (an RPM/Fedora based distro). I currently use the usb-based Yacht Devices YDNU-02RF.

Yes, we use the Actisense W2K-1 with OpenCPN. Works like a charm!

If it helps anyone Actisense have now released a guidance note for using the Actisense W2K-1 wifi gateway with NMEA 2000 in and out.

I've not tried it yet. Mine is currently set up using 2000 <> 0183. Hopefully I will try 2000 <> 2000 in September.
