accidental "delete route"

i accidentally deleted a route from the other-mouse-button menu when i missed the "insert waypoint" - as one would expect the whole route disappeared : is there any way to undo?

also, will opencpn work on the windows 8 system?

thanks! - bruce

Bruce...
OpenCPN has 5 rolling backups of the navobjects.xml file stored and rotated on program start, so if you still didn't run it more than 5 times since the incident, you can recover.
The files are name navobjects.xml.1 - navobjects.xml.5 and stored in the directory where you logfile and config is - Installing OpenCPN | Official OpenCPN Homepage - bottom of the page.
If you are not sure how many times you have run Opencpn since you deleted the route, better don't start it just to have a look and tell us your operating system version...

We should run quite fine on Windows 8.
