64 Bit Pi

Hi there, I am trying to load opencpn onto a Pi 4 running 64 bit Raspberian. But I can't get it to load as there appear to be dependencies that it can't resolve. Does anyone have any experience with getting it to run on 64 bit and can offer advice? The message is as below.
Thanks
Luke

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get install opencpn
Reading package lists... Done

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
opencpn : Depends: libwxgtk3.0-0v5 (>= 3.0.4+dfsg) but it is not installable
Recommends: xcalib but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: opencpn-doc but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: opencpn-sglock-amd64 but it is not installable
Recommends: opencpn-sglock-arm32 but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

If I then try to install the dependent package I get

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get install -y libwxgtk3.0-0v5
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package libwxgtk3.0-0v5 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'libwxgtk3.0-0v5' has no installation candidate

Are you installing Ubuntu, Debian, or Mint?

Re: 64 Bit Pi

But will start again with something else if someone wants to point me to a different OS that then works for Opencpn! - although having got signalk, influxdb and grafana working I would rather not

Luke...
If you do not truly need 64 bits for some other app, I strongly suggest RaspiOS/Bullseye/ARMHF. It will run OCPN faster than any known arm64 OS, with full plugin support coming soon.

Otherwise, the most compatible solution for ARM64 is OpenCPN/flatpak

Thanks. I will try Flatpack and if I struggle with that I will revert to 32 bit. I had gone the 64 bit route as influxdb 2.0 which I had installed only runs on 64 bit and I was led to believe that 64 bit is faster - but I had subsequently reverted to influxdb 1.8 so that constraint has gone. Thanks for your help and I will let you know how I get on!
