I just downloaded from the link above on a computer that has never had
OpenCPN and it worked just fine. It is possible that anti-virus is at
work or that you have a virus. The latter seems plausible. Some virus
software will try to attach itself to the end of a .exe file hoping no one will notice. The NSIS installer checks to see if the file is "intact" and this check might be an indication of a virus. But it's really hard to tell from here.
