3.2.2 on XP SP2 with all sp3 updates

Help .... I am running Windows XP SP2 but it really is SP3 as it has all relevant updates. It just does not report itself as SP3 therefore the 3.2.2 installer will not run. Can someone point me at a portable set of files perhaps or a set of files that I can manually install?

mingw doesn't care about service pack.. You can probably use windows 98 if you wanted to:
