Flying J mast on a Catalina Capri 14.2?

Hello, I am a complete newbie to sailing, so please forgive my ignorance. I have a Catalina Capri 14.2 that is dismasted. I cannot find another mast in my price range. I did find a mast and boom for a Flying J. I also found a used Flying J main sail and jib for a reasonable price, from another seller. My questions are: would it be feasible to use the Flying J mast and boom and sails on a Catalina Capri 14.2? Is this a dumb idea? Is there something I should do/not do in this circumstance? It will work, the mast on there fj is 3 ft taller, boom is a 7 inches shorter, you could city the mast and use your boom, or everything from the fj, including sails

Thanks for your reply! I ended up getting a mast and boom from a similar boat and we are working in it now.
