Any
current thoughts on
inflatable coatings. I recently came across a discarded Caribe that isn't in toooo bad a shape. Has one gash about 1/2" long near the rub rail and tube bulkhead so tricky to fix, but overall
fabric is ok
With maybe a dozen wear spots and snags down to the center
fabric weave.
I see one Canadian product runs about $150 for a 9'
boat and the other
Florida based company seems a bit cheaper. Mi believe both are two part coatings. Are these worthwhile or should I give a latex roofing coating like Lanco a try?
I might also need to seal the inside of the tubes, but the 2 aft ones seem to hold air OK so far. Bow tube might need an internal seal.
Any experiences with either product appreciated. If I could get 3-4 years out of the redone
boat that would be good. Is Approx 10 years old now.
