The First & Youngest & Fastest Goat to sail Solo RTW (Non-Stop)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't your goat also be the oldest Goat to sail RTW (Non-Stop)?

This should open up a whole new world of interst, and most importantly, funding. There are a lot more old people with money than young people. This may not be true for goats.

Come to think of it, why all the hoopla about sending children (and of course, goats, dogs, and salamanders) out to sea, when we could be competing to send the oldest person RTW? There are any number of crabby old barnacles who know absolutely the only way to do anything and everything. We wouldn't need to spend a lot on a boat, not with their expertise...We could take the classical Eskimo approach. Uh, wait, I'm getting off the laser like focus of this thread.

Go youngest/oldest goat, go!

This thread has apparently suffered a quick death. Mr. Mander has informed me of his intention to leave the mammals to their own infighting and sail off into the sunset.I wish him well...

Goats get hit by lightning twice as often as cats

They are taller more likely to have an orthodontist and rods coming out of there heads.

Rumor is the goat is using a grappling hook as it's primary anchor.
I can't validate this but reportedly from a very skeptical source th goat said " I'm not putting anything with a roll bar on my boat"

Well, if you interpret the Goat quietly getting on with his preparations as "thread death" rather than trying to whip up a media frenzy or filling an apparent void in the lives of middle aged voyeurs - then IMO that speaks volumes about the thought involved in Team Salamander and the motivations of those behind that foolhardy venture

Just for the record, The Goat is not chasing the media - he figures that as and when this voyage succeeds the media will be chasing him. Delayed gratification - the Goat is wise beyond his years

The “Oldest Goat to sail around the World” has a realistic ring to it and in all fairness; we should measure in “goat” years or “human” years…depending on which category enters.

Having survived the methane attack of my last sea voyage in a boat full of goats I think the boat's electrical design will need careful attention to any sparking connections and for safety a masthead flashing red light indicating “dangerous cargo”

As you can see from these photos, we have already begun "heavy weather" sea testing goats to find suitable candidates…Interestingly enough…those with the biggest balls performed the worst!
